Up first is Smoke & Mirrors – a gorgeous silver shimmer with silver glitters and some holographic glitter as well!

Fire Eater is a mix of red, orange, and yellow glitters of all shapes and sizes! Here this is 2 coats on their own, but it would be perfect layered over another color.

Sword Swallower is a glittery holographic top coat amazing-ness!

Snake Lady is another top coat polish with brown, black, and white hex glitters in different sizes! Would look amazing layered over a black or copper polish

Mime is a milky white jelly with black and white glitters in different sizes! Shown here I used 2 coats.

Caramel Corn is a caramel colored jelly with various shapes and sizes of glitter!

Candy Apple is a jelly polish meant to look like – you guessed it – a candy apple! It has a light brown jelly base with red, green, and gold glitters.

Gypsy is an amazing purple jelly with orange and purple glitters!

Electra is a light blue jelly with white, blue, and silver glitters! Shown here is 2 coats.

Cotton Candy is one of my favorites! It has diamond and square glitters in all sorts of pastel shades. Would look gorgeous layered over another color – love it!

Circus Elephant is a grey jelly polish with glitters in every color! I used 2 coats here – love how colorful it is

And last but not least – Ringmaster! This one is a red jelly with gold squares and black, white, yellow, and red hexes. 2 coats!

In other  news, I am halfway done with school to get my manicurist license! Super excited to be done soon, but I’m so exhausted

Last week I went to Target in search of some nailspiration! I came across this bathing suit and had to have this design on my nails. I love chevron patterns so I thought this would be a different take on it! (I think its called jonqal?)

As for painting these, I just used a bunch of nail polishes and a nail art brush.

Remember this post I did last week? Well the month of April is over so the next round of the Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art competition has begun! This month’s theme is Street Style.

What is Street Style you ask? According to Sally Hansen it is “heavy metal, pop art, and graffiti glam”! These nails kind of encompass heavy metal and grunge. The distressed denim texture gives the perfect background to add heavy metal studs and embellishments. Go crazy, have fun!

Since starting school to get my manicurist license (not to mention going to college as well!) I was worried I would never have time to do my nails. Luckily there is some downtime during nail school so I am still able to get some nail art in

Lately I’ve started using acrylic paint instead of nail polish for my nail art, and I absolutely love it! I use it straight out of the bottle and it doesn’t dry up like how nail polish does. I found black and white acrylic paint at Michael’s Craft Store for 99 cents each (what a deal!) and they have tons of colors. Definitely going back next week to get some more

So…can you tell I love florals? This design is very similar to my Doc Marten Florals but I wanted to “spring-ify” it!

When thinking up today’s design, I wanted to just do some sort of “doodle” design on my nails. After choosing the colors, I just started painting different lines and shapes and doodled on my nails – this is what I came up with!

The base color is OPI My Vampire is Buff – such a gorgeous nude (almost off white) shade! I also used Floss Gloss Bikini Coral, Essie Butler Please, and Cult Nails Nevermore for the details.

Once dried, I used Seche Vite top coat and tweezers to apply the caviar beads. These ones were purchased from Michael’s Craft Store. I’ve never really used caviar beads before and I thought this was a fun way to use them without doing the normal caviar nail design
